Our mission is to share our passion for the ocean with as many people as possible so that you can all experience the joy that the ocean brings us daily.
We are a 100% locally owned surf school – founded in 2013. Kailohi Surf School is focused on bringing quality lessons, great vibes, and community to amazing people like you coming to visit our city. We love sharing our home with you, and teaching you guys all there is to know about connecting with the ocean through the magic of surfing.
The school prides itself on having instructors that love surfing, that have and still do surf in surfing contests, and have a natural enthusiasm whilst teaching surfing. A high percentage of the instructors are current and ex-professional surfers.
Our surf coaching focuses on introducing surfers to the ocean safely to elevate your surfing skills to be ocean competent and to be able to surf in a range of conditions with confidence on your own.
Kailohi Surf School offers private and group lessons to people of all ages and levels of experience. We are in the business of having fun, and we say it’s never too late or early to develop your skills in the water.
